This post of mine is very brief.. I am currently very busy with my work, so hardly get time to maintain my blog. Anyways THE WHOLE CREDIT FOR THIS GOES TO DARKFOREST & HIS TEAM FOR THEIR DEDICATION & HARD WORK. The below content is straight extract from them mail sent by Darkforest to me.I'll be adding the proper steps later on (ie with the picture & all).
Before we start, like always TAKE BACKUP OF YOU PHONE. IF YOU SCREW UP IN THE PROCESS NEITHER I OR DARKFOREST WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IT.!!!!!
Now thats all clear.. then just follow the below steps. (The below is the extract from the mail sent by Darforest)
This is the nv_original.ini file you will need, taken from XEII4 firmware download it.

This file will need to replace the one located in the " Baltic " folder on your phone.
I have added the lines that needed to activate dark theme (black theme), so you just have to transfer the file .
steps for this method -->
connect your phone and start tk file explorer
open systemFS --> settings --> preconfiguration --> Baltic --> NV --> put this file there.
to put this file ... you can see two windows in tk file ..... just on the upper window go wherever you have this file and drag down in the NV folder of Baltic
After this close tkfile..... and disconnect phone.
Do preconfig on the phone
dial *#6984125*# --> Pre-connfiguration --> *#73561*# -- > select Baltic.
Your phone will restart and the new theme will be active.
*Note...
But if you change the theme to red or green, it will be gone, you will need to do the Pre-configuration again to see it.
So if you like it don't change it back to green or red

i tried dis a few days back from dark forest's blog...
but my fone doesnt have a 'Baltic' folder.....
also wen i went thro dark forest's comments....he had mentioned dat it can also b copy pasted in 'Default' folder...which i tried but in vain....
all da original fone settings are retained but no black theme....
can u help me wid dis?

I succeeded in changing theme to black. As mentioned by adi_ase2000 i pasted that file in 'DEFAULT' folder and succeeded.

I just followed the steps and instead of BALTIC folder i copied that file in DEFAULT folder. That's it.

there is another folder called "NV" inside "default" folder.
the "NV" folder contains a file called "nv_default.ini"
did u overwrite this file?

Those who dont have baltic folder in their phones, follow these steps:
1. go to (using TKexplorer):
Phone --> systemFS --> settings --> preconfiguration --> Default --> NV -->
2. this folder should be empty.
copy the file: "nv_original.ini"
in this folder.
3. dial *#6984125*# (in keypad) --> Pre-configuration --> *#73561*# -- >
here u should find a "default" option.
4.click on install, the phone will restart and ur new theme is installed.
this worked well from me.

good work friend.....i followed the instructions on your blog and installed the TKFileExplorer and my phone got connected. I tried installed few games (which has both .jar and .jad files respectively) but seems to be having the same problem as few others, where only .jad file is getting downloaded to the phone (i believe so...), coz, when i open this game on my phone, its giving an error, Java Error. Invalid Format and the size of that game is just around 2 kb on the phone. I tried the Lite FTP alternative, one game got installed fine with that, but I got a question, If GPRS is not active on my phone, will i still be able to use Lite FTP application?
Any updates on the above will be appreciated.....if its not much of a trouble for you, please email me your thoughts to jafferq@in.com.

thank you very much. i followed the instructions. i don't have baltic folder as well so what i did is chose the folder where i am located (e.g. belgium) and it worked. thanks, dude.
I am failing to connect my Samsung star GT-S5233A in TkFileExplorer_2.2.exe. Sometimes I see the com ports and sometimes I don't. If I choose a com port and try to connect, I get an error saying the link will be lost. When I don't see a com port I try to type it in but it doesn't help. Please help me if you can. Hello,
hi friends, i have bought samsung star2 s5260. whenever i try to browse i gives an error " not enough resource , close some application and try again " i hav tried all the possibilities like during browse i have closed all the application, i have made my default memory from phone memory to memory card . make it on the run flash option in the preferences. still the problem persist. samsung star 2 use the propriety browser name dolphin. is there any way to load the opera browser or some other browser in samsung star 2
